Silver and shiny

the design is so tiny.

Lovely and fragile

it sits in the air,

but even so

it does not tear.

It’s maker

(you would think)

is rich and lovely,

but really the artist

is poor and ugly.

Quietly

she sits in her bed,

while I look on

and see a spider and web.
