We have this meal at least once a week - it is a never-fail-to-please meal, and it's also fast and easy.
- Brown the ground beef and season it with taco seasoning or a mixture of oregano, chile powder, garlic powder, cumin powder, salt and pepper.
- Heat beans and put in a bowl. Chop, slice, and prepare all toppings and place out in individual bowls. Grate cheese.
- Place all ingredients, including chips, sour cream, all toppings, meat and beans out salad-bar-style. Each person will layer their taco salad in this order (or as they please): Chips, meat, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, squeeze of lime juice, sour cream.
