Saturday morning breakfast is and has always been pancakes!
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl beat eggs and buttermilk together, slowly adding melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Do not over-mix.
- Pour 1/4 cup of pancake batter into buttered hot skillet. When the top of the batter begins to bubble and the pancake has risen, flip it over and brown the other side.
- Serve pancakes with maple syrup, butter, whipped cream, and fresh fruit.
